This policy explains the information PokeBot uses to provide its Discord RPG features. By using PokeBot, you acknowledge the practices described here.
Information PokeBot processes
PokeBot may process and store the minimum identifiers and game information required to operate, including:
- Your Discord user ID and basic public Discord account information supplied through interactions.
- Your trainer name, game settings, regional progress, Pokémon collection, teams, PC boxes, bag contents, PokéCoins, badges, statistics, cooldowns, Hall of Fame records, and related save data.
- Trade receipts, duel history, battle state, and transaction records needed for game integrity and recovery.
- Discord server, channel, or interaction identifiers when required to deliver commands, panels, reminders, or support features.
- Technical logs used to diagnose errors, prevent corruption, and maintain the service.
Message content
The supplied PokeBot build is designed around slash commands and does not require Discord’s privileged Message Content Intent for normal gameplay. Discord still provides the content you intentionally submit in command options and interactive forms.
How information is used
Information is used to operate commands, save progress, generate game cards, complete trades and duels, prevent duplicate or invalid actions, recover interrupted flows, investigate errors, protect the service, and improve gameplay.
Storage and retention
Game saves and transaction data may be retained while PokeBot operates and for a reasonable period needed for backups, recovery, moderation, fraud prevention, or technical support. Backup copies may take additional time to expire after a primary record is removed.
Sharing
PokeBot does not sell personal information. Data may be visible to other users where a feature is intentionally public, such as trainer profiles, teams, duel leaderboards, battle results, trade confirmations, or Hall of Fame records. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to infrastructure providers needed to host PokeBot.
Your choices
You may stop using PokeBot at any time. For a request to access, correct, transfer, or delete your PokeBot save, contact the bot owner through the official support server. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling, transaction integrity, backups, or legal obligations.
Children
PokeBot is provided through Discord. Users must satisfy Discord’s age requirements and any additional age requirements that apply in their country.
Security
The bot uses safeguards such as atomic save writes, backups, validation, per-player locking, and transaction rollback. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should never submit passwords, authentication tokens, payment information, or other sensitive secrets through game commands.
Changes
This policy may be updated as PokeBot changes. A revised date will be posted on this page.
Contact
Questions and data requests can be submitted through the official PokeBot support server.
