These terms govern your use of PokeBot. By inviting or using the bot, you agree to these terms and Discord’s applicable terms and policies.
Use of the service
PokeBot provides a fan-made Discord role-playing game. You may use it for lawful personal and community entertainment. Access may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued to maintain the service, protect users, comply with law, or respond to misuse.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Exploit bugs, duplicate items, manipulate saves, evade cooldowns, automate abusive command usage, or intentionally damage the game economy.
- Attempt to access another player’s account, private interaction, save data, credentials, or restricted owner tools.
- Harass users, impersonate staff, distribute malicious content, or use PokeBot to violate Discord rules or applicable law.
- Reverse engineer, attack, overload, scrape, or interfere with the hosted service beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
- Sell or exchange PokeBot accounts, Pokémon, items, coins, or services for real-world value unless the bot owner has explicitly authorized it.
Game integrity
Progress, items, Pokémon, coins, records, rewards, and rankings are virtual game data with no cash value or guarantee of permanence. The owner may correct, reverse, remove, or restore data affected by bugs, exploits, invalid trades, administrative mistakes, corrupted saves, balancing updates, or abuse.
Availability and changes
PokeBot is provided on an “as available” basis. Features, commands, balance, encounters, rewards, rules, data packs, and availability may change. Maintenance, outages, Discord changes, hosting failures, or software errors may interrupt access.
Server permissions
Server administrators are responsible for reviewing the permissions requested during authorization and deciding whether PokeBot is appropriate for their server. Remove the bot if you no longer consent to its access.
Intellectual property
PokeBot is a fan-made project. Pokémon names, characters, and related properties belong to their respective owners. PokeBot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, or The Pokémon Company.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, data preservation, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every Discord server. The bot owner is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using PokeBot by removing it from your server or no longer interacting with it. Access may be suspended or terminated for violations, safety concerns, legal requirements, technical risk, or service closure.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
